Diversion Programs for Alcohol Offenses Could Keep You Out of Jail

Diversion programs are sentencing programs offered as an alternative to jail. Usually available to first-time offenders, and depending on your level of intoxication at the time of your arrest, they can also result in a reduction of your charges and penalties.

If you were arrested in Washington D.C., we can help you access the Traffic Alcohol Program (TAP). If your arrest happened in Virginia, the Alcohol and Substance Abuse Program (ASAP) my be an option for you.

If your blood-alcohol content (BAC) was higher than the diversion program allows, you won't be eligible. We will work closely with you to explore other options and build an aggressive defense to minimize any penalties you face.
